About the Role
This part-time (15-20 hours per week) contractor role is perfect for a versatile marketer who thrives at the intersection of content creation, analytics, and strategic planning. You’ll play a key role in communicating our mission, reaching educators, learners and creators through compelling storytelling, optimized digital content, and creative marketing campaigns.
We’re looking for someone who can craft engaging content, analyze performance data, refine our brand messaging, and set the marketing strategy to better connect with our audience. If you’re a strategic thinker who can also roll up your sleeves and create, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Develop Marketing Strategies – Plan and execute marketing initiatives that align with our mission and goals.
- Craft Impactful Content – Develop blog posts, email campaigns, and website copy that inspire educators and learners.
- Optimize for Engagement – Implement SEO strategies and analyze data to refine content and improve audience reach.
- Create Compelling Visuals – Design marketing graphics and produce video/photo content to enhance storytelling.
- Manage Conference/Trade Show Presence – Organize and promote workshops, expo booths, and events, ensuring a strong brand presence at live industry events.
- Leverage AI & Innovation – Use AI tools and emerging technologies to streamline content creation and engagement.
- Stay Organized & Focused – Manage multiple projects effectively in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing, content creation, and SEO strategy.
- Experience with B2C products
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with a passion for art, education and STEM.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, SEO tools, and content management systems.
- A creative mindset with the ability to design engaging marketing visuals and videos.
- A data-driven approach—able to track and measure the impact of marketing efforts.
- Excellent time management skills—able to prioritize effectively in a part-time role.
- A deep interest in education, creativity, and making STEM learning more accessible is a strong plus.

Compensation
This position pays an hourly rate of $45 to $65, depending on experience and skill set. The final compensation will reflect the candidate’s expertise across content creation, SEO, data analysis, trade show management, and overall marketing strategy.
