Hi everyone! this is Rana and I’m so happy to be back here on Chibitronics blog to share a new fun light up card with you.
As always I started to design my circuit in the silhouette software then also designed the battery holder template and sent it to my silhouette portrait machine to cut it.
Then I cut the background using Magengo designs In-out stitched rectangles die cut set , then I cut two grass layers using Magengo Designs grass borders die cut set.
In the next step I inked the background with Salty ocean, chipped sapphire and black sot distress oxide inks using a blending brush.
After that I started to work the circuit, with a pencil I just marked where I need the lights to be then simply draw the negative line and the positive line for the circuit and connected them with the battery holder, I used Chibitronics conductive fabric tap and Chibitronics Orange LED sticker to build the circuit.
I cut the battery holder template 3 times and stack them together using liquid adhesive so I can get a thick board which has the same thickness of the baterry.
The stamps that I used in today’s card are from (From me to you) stamp set by Magengo Designs.
I stamped the stamp on a soft white card stock using memento tuxedo black ink and collared them with Ohuhu brush markers.
The sentiment that I chose for today’s card is (Alles gute zum Geburtstag) this sentiment is in German and it means (happy birthday), I embossed the sentiment on a piece of black card stock using versamark ink and white embossing powder.
