Launchpad LEDs May Make You Flip

We think you’ll flip for our new Launchpad LEDs!

Because they are not backed with adhesive like our Circuit Sticker LEDs, our new Launchpad LEDs may be easily flipped around to shine through a hole from the back side of a piece of paper!

Launchpad LEDs may be easily traced and flipped to change the orientation of the light.

Launchpad LEDs are easy to trace, tape, and reposition.

Engraved polarity markings, visible on the front and back, make Launchpad LEDs easy to see, trace, and flip!

Sturdy and repositionable, their elongated metal pads are easy to grip, tape, and clip!

This versatility gives you more creative options.

If you want to build your circuit directly onto the back of a card panel (or even a canvas), you can do so by flipping the Launchpad LED with the bulb positioned through a hole.

Flip a Launchpad LED bulb-side-down if you want light to shine from the back of a single piece of paper.

Flip a Launchpad LED bulb-side-UP if you prefer to place a a second piece of paper on top.

Flippable & Fun!

Shared as part of a pop-up Valentine constructed for LightUpPopUpTober2025, Leah DiPasquale demonstrates how she uses flipped Launchpad LEDs in her paper engineering.

By building her circuit on the back side of a card, and flipping the Launchpad LED to shine through a hole on the front side, she reduced bulk while easily illuminating the pop-up from behind.
