Chibitronics Launchpad LEDs Are Easy to Grip & Flip

Launchpad LEDs May Make You Flip

We think you’ll flip for our new Launchpad LEDs!

Because they are not backed with adhesive like our Circuit Sticker LEDs, our new Launchpad LEDs may be easily flipped around to shine through a hole from the back side of a piece of paper!

Launchpad LEDs may be easily traced and flipped to change the orientation of the light.
Launchpad LEDs are easy to trace, tape, and reposition.

Sturdy and repositionable, their elongated metal pads are easy to grip, tape, and clip!

Engraved polarity markings, visible on the front and back, make Launchpad LEDs easy to see, trace, and flip!

This versatility gives you more creative options when working with paper, card, or canvas.

Flippable & Fun!

Leah DiPasquale, a gifted illustrator and graphic designer known for her vibrant artwork and eye-catching paper toys, recently shared a bit about her process when designing interactive pop-up cards and toys.

Shared as part of a pop-up Valentine she constructed for LightUpPopUpTober2025, the following image depicts the versatility of our new Launchpad LEDs.

Leah DiPasquale Circuit Example

By building her circuit on the back side of a card, and flipping the Launchpad LED to shine through a hole on the front side, she was able to reduce bulk while easily illuminating the pop-up from behind.

You can see an example of how Leah applied this technique in the photos below, or you may view the reel in our LightUpPopUpTober 2025 video compilation or on Instagram.
