KIDMuseum Lights up Women’s History Month with Chibitronics

Bringing Bright Ideas to Life

During March 2026, visitors to KIDMuseum, in Bethesda, MD, will learn about circuitry and the ground-breaking work of Chibitronics’ CEO, Jie Qi.

Here at KID — an organization founded and run by women — Women’s History Month is a big deal. Join us to honor and celebrate the achievements of women in the STEM and Maker communities who are shaping the future through innovation and creativity!

Every Sunday in March, from 10:00 am- 4 pm EST, participants visiting the Maker Playground at KIDMuseum can expect to learn about Jie Qi’s mission to combine art with engineering, to empower creators of all backgrounds to make their own expressive and personally meaningful tech-enhanced art.
