Hello, Kelly here with a simple light up card. I made this unicorn magical by having her horn light up.
I stamped the images from Flora and Fauna using Momento Ink on Neenah cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I poked a hole on the tip of the unicorn’s horn for the LED light to shine through. I placed a piece of cardstock for the circuit under the stamped one and marked with a pencil through the hole for the LED placement.
I put a double layer of foam tape around the LED to keep the light from shining out the sides of the card. The battery is in the fold of cardstock, I put a double layer of foam tape around the battery but keep the backing on. The foam tape around the battery helps keep the circuit from connecting unless pressed on. The front of the card is adhered to the circuit using a double layer of foam tape.
When the recipient presses on the tail the horn lights up. I added some clear sparkling jewels to the centers of the flowers and some Wink of Stella to the mane and tail of the unicorn. The tuft of grass is a die from Flora and Fauna, I die cut it four times, adhered the die cuts together and colored the top one with Copic Markers.
Thank you for checking out my card.
