Hello! Kelly Szafron here. I am here with a pull tab card. The pull tab for lighting up my card is my favorite way to use Chibitronics. For this card I used pull tab dies from Lawn Fawn. Eiko has an excellent post here that explains how to use the Lawn Fawn Pull Tab dies with Chibitronics. I find this a simple circuit to make.
I started off my card by blending three shades of Distress Oxide ink on Bristol Smooth Paper. The stamps and dies I used are from the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero August kit. I die cut the castle in the clouds and added a little color with a Copic marker. I colored the stamped dragon and wizard with Copic markers and die cut them. I adhered the die cuts to the inked background. I then used a craft pick to poke holes where I wanted the lights to shine through. For the LED placements I placed a piece of card stock behind the card front and marked through the holes with a pencil. I then built my circuit as pictured above . I adhered the circuit to the back of the card front using foam tape. The foam tape gives the circuit and slider tab clearance and is a strong adhesive. I added the Hero Arts frame die cut, some clear glossy accents to finish off the card and star embellishments to finish off the card.
