Curiosity to Confidence: Light Up Your Crafts with Chibitronics
Are you attracted to bright shiny objects? Have you been intrigued by the exciting possibility of adding light to your creations? Perfect for card makers, scrapbookers, and artists, Chibitronics is a fun and easy way to add light and interactivity to paper crafts. Join the CEO of Chibitronics in a hands-on demo that introduces the basics of crafting with light and how to bring this innovative way of making to your customers. Participants will gain confidence to create brilliant, light-up projects. No prior experience with electronics necessary.
Workshop Two – 120 minutes (Sun. 24 March from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm CST)
Bright Ideas with Chibitronics: Techniques and Tricks for Crafting with Light
Are you captivated by paper curiosities that glow, twinkle, and come to life? In this intermediate workshop, you will dive deeper into the potential of using light as a creative tool, and be the first to experiment with our innovative new products. Participants will learn more advanced circuit techniques and have the opportunity to participate in hands-on demos using some of our supplementary products, such as animating LEDS, pressure sensitive plastic, templates, and switches. This workshop builds on concepts and skills learned in “Curiosity to Confidence: Light Up Your Crafts with Chibitronics.’’ It is recommended, but not required, that you complete that workshop before taking this one.
