π Education Account Specialist (Sales & Support)

Chibitronics is seeking a motivated and relationship-oriented Education Account Specialist (Sales & Support) to help expand the reach of our creative STEAM learning products in schools, libraries, art classrooms, makerspaces, museums, and educational organizations across the United States!
This is a sales-focused role for someone who understands educators, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about helping schools bring more creativity, making, and hands-on learning into their programs.
πΌ About the Role
As an Education Account Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships with educators and administrators, supporting customers, and driving sales of Chibitronics products and programs.
This role combines educational outreach, consultative sales, and customer support. Successful candidates will be comfortable discussing educational needs, recommending solutions, and helping customers implement our products successfully.
Responsibilities include:
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities with schools, districts, libraries, makerspaces, and other educational organizations
- Conduct outreach via email, phone, virtual meetings, conferences, and educator networks
- Build relationships with educators, administrators, curriculum leaders, and purchasing decision-makers
- Present Chibitronics products and programs to prospective customers
- Follow up on leads and manage customer relationships through the sales process
- Meet and exceed sales goals
Customer Support & Success
- Provide product guidance and basic technical support to educators
- Help customers select appropriate products and programs
- Assist educators in successfully implementing Chibitronics tools and resources
- Gather customer feedback and share insights with the Chibitronics team to help improve our tools
- Foster long-term customer relationships and repeat business
This is a flexible, fully-remote role with work occurring primarily during U.S. business hours.
π Preferred Background & Traits
- Former educators (teachers, instructional coaches, librarians, makerspace educators, etc.)
- Comfortable speaking with customers and conducting outreach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and organized
- Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) how circuits and Chibitronics products work
- Passionate about STEAM education and creative learning
Because this role includes educator support and outreach, prior classroom or education experience is strongly preferred.

This is a 100% commission-based position.
Compensation is based on successful sales and partnership development.
