Hi Everyone, Melissa here. Today I am sharing how I created this simple circuit which lights up the Bee image on this Spring card. Let’s get started!
Firstly, I have created the card front. I have used a stamp set from Colorado Crafts called ‘Happy Day’. I stamped it with Black ink onto Copic X-Press It Blending Card and coloured it with Copic Markers. I have cut it out using dies from Tailored Expressions.
I have drawn the circuit on the base of the card so I know exactly where everything will go.
I use the Chibitronics Fabric Tape to create the circuit and a Chibitronic LED Circuit Sticker to light up the card. The Battery will be encased in a holder that can be removed from the card so you can change the battery when it goes flat.
I have used foam tape to put this card together, this gives the card the depth it needs for the circuit to work correctly.
When you press on the ‘Press Here’ word on the front of the card, the bee will light up!
Supplies:
Chibitronics Conductive Fabric Tape
Stamp Set: Happy Day
Medium: Copic Markers
Dies: Mini Slim Stacklets
Other: Battery, Foam Tape, Black Ink
I hope my project inspires you to light something up! Give it a go, it’s fun!!
Keep Creating
Melissa xx
