Hi friends – Bri Firth here! Today I am sharing a slider light-up card featuring the White Sticker Lights and Copper Tape from Chibitronics! This card just blows all your troubles away. This card also features the “Bubbles of Joy” set by Lawn Fawn. For more details on how I made this interactive creation keep reading below!
First, I stamped the bubble wand and the trail of bubbles with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the bubbles and wand with my Copic markers. I used RV14 to color the wand, and I used BG0000, BG02, BG01, RV13, Y13 to color the bubbles. I used Masking Magic sticker paper to cover the bubbles while I ink blended the background with Broken China Distress Oxide ink. I used plain water to create an ink resisting effect, and I used Mermaid Lagoon Distress ink to create an ink splattering effect on the sky background.
I used Mowed Lawn Distress ink and Pine Needles Distress ink to create a distressed edge and ink splatter effect on the layered grassy border. I heat embossed the sentiment onto the grassy border with white pigment ink.
Once the card front was dry, I used liquid adhesive and foam tape to add the mice and bubbles bottle to the card. I used my Copic Ws to color the mice. I heat embossed the second sentiment onto the blue flag and attached it to the card with foam tape.
I used black pigment ink to stamp the “press me” sentiment and the arrow from the Push Here set by Lawn Fawn.
