Create a Light Up Starry Night Sky

Hi crafty friends, I made a fun starry night sky for you today. I used the Pressure Sensitive Conductive Plastic, which lets the lights come on separately and allows them to be brighter or dimmer. I hope you enjoy, let’s get started.

I inked the background with distress oxide inks, Blueprint Sketch, Prize Ribbon, Chipped Sapphire and Back Soot for night sky look. I then inked the grassy hills with Rustic Wilderness, which is not a bright green, so it goes well with a nighttime card. I Colored the Lawn Fawn images and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I marked where my stars were going to be and then added the Copper Tape and lights. I used Blue, Orange, Green, Yellow, White and Pink for the stars. I added the foam tape around all of the edges and adhered the top panel to the bottom panel. I adhered the cute critters and stars, stamped the sentiment and finished with a White Gel Pen for added details.
