Hi friends – Bri Firth here! Today, I am sharing a holiday card with light up ornaments. This project was created with the Christmas Streamers Stamp Set from Pink & Main and light up components from Chibitronics. This interactive card features Green Sticker Lights and Conductive Fabric Tape from Chibitronics. For more details on how I created this holiday card keep reading below. Make sure to check out the YT video tutorial at the end of this post as well!

First I used gold embossing powder to heat emboss the streamers and the sentiment onto the white A2 card front. Next, I used Tattered Rose Distress Oxide ink to create a gentle ink fade from the top of the card to the white cardstock.

I wanted to make the lights on this card activate when you run your finger along the top of the card. In the photo below, you can see the circuit I created for this slider light up card. I used Green Sticker Lights and Conductive Fabric Tape for this card. I just loved the idea of combining gold, blush pink, and green for a holiday card.

Check out the video below for step by step instruction on how I created the sliding light effects:
Hope this creation inspires you today!
